Taking time to do this is a form of self-care. Make the time to do it. Change is hard. Especially when you’ve done the same thing for decades. You can do it, I believe in you. You deserve the life of your dreams with much less stress. At this time of year, Many struggle with S.A.D. on top of their normal everyday struggle. Don’t give up on yourself. Silence helps calm the nervous system, reducing cortisol levels and promoting relaxation. It provides a break from the constant influx of noise, information, and external stressors. Regular moments of silence help cultivate inner peace and serenity. Start the day with a few minutes of quiet reflection or meditation. End the day with silent gratitude or journaling.
